CBD Talk Podcast’s inaugural episode was May 4, 2016 – and we’ve come a long way since then!

With well over a hundred thousand plays over 78 episodes, we’ve interviewed doctors, scientists, activists, industry leaders, manufacturers and even a politician to bring you non-biased information about all things CBD - and we’ve thrown in some cannabis science as well.  Our mission has always been to provide education and information about an amazing plant to help elevate both the discussion and understanding of how cannabinoids can help you live a healthier life.

At this juncture, we have decided that it’s appropriate to welcome sponsors for our episodes. We have struggled with this decision for well over a year now as we have been receiving sponsorship offers for even longer than that. But the time is right and here is how we’re doing it:

The sponsor will have a short (15 second) “commercial” at the beginning of the episode, after the episode number and introduction of the sponsor; and immediately before the introduction of the guest.  Sponsor can provide the audio or a script to be recorded by CBD Talk Podcast.  Sponsor will provide a logo to use on the video version to show while their “commercial” audio is playing.

The cost of sponsorship per episode will be calculated quarterly based on the average plays per episode over the prior 2 quarters.  The highest played episode and lowest played episode (not including “announcements” or other non-episodic recordings) will be dropped from the calculation. 

Episodic sponsorship cost will be calculated by multiplying the average number of episode plays, rounded down to the nearest increment of 500, by $0.10.  For example, an average episode play count of 1806 would be rounded down to 1500 and multiplied by $0.10 to equal a $150.00 cost to sponsor an episode.
